About RedBus Colo
RedBus-Colo is a brand of Server Shed Ltd, established in
2002, our emphasis is on support and reliability - this you
may hear time and again from a multitude of companies, but
we back it up!
Each month we aim to have our 100% uptime record remain
intact; to help accomplish this again and again we invested
in a rock solid infrastructure - our network is made
entirely of Cisco routers and Switches, we carry spares of
our equipment, we take transit from multiple upstream's
which come in over physically different fiber lines. All our
equipment is located within RedBus datacenters, where power,
security, and temperature are assured - giving our customers
the best solution in a great London Docklands location.
Our network is monitored both internally and externally (by
Alertra), should there be any sign of a problem arising we
are notified and work on it before it happens. We will also
provide monitoring for two services on each server you
colocate with us, you will be notified via a SMS text
message if we detect a problem.
Our pro-active monitoring helps our clients stay online, and
should there be a problem we have the resources to fix it
fast.
Should you require a reboot, they can be carried out by
reboot switches (where you have control over the power to
your server), through our online control panel, or over the
phone 24 hours a day. If you require a technician to provide
assistance on a server, for instance running a FSCK,
pressing the enter key (it happens!) or perhaps unblocking
your IP Address from a firewall - there are onsite
technicians. Alternatively we have KVM over IP (Keyboard,
Video, Mouse over IP) switches which can be plugged into
your server giving you remote control access right down to
the BIOS level - this gives you control similar to if you
were directly in front of the machine!

just a phrase, its something we've planned, developed
